Restaurants

r2.jpg The Spanish haven’t lost their traditions if it comes to food. A tapasbar that keeps the tradition for a long long time is MOTANA. If you stay in Valencia a couple of days I would for sure do the effort to visit this place. The audience here is a bit more posh than anywhere else but the prices are very ok. It isn’t very big and it is well know for it’s wines and cava’s. Vinos Catalanes , vinos de LaMancha , vinos de Valancia…CAVAS Freixenet , parxet. I did see people come in just to buy wine or vinegar. But we came here to eat. (it is said that famous people did here too). And it was excellent. I heard that the place serves anchovy and mussels that are selected one by one. They did looked very good. You will have a good look around the interior. The old tiles and posters on the wall. Both left and right wall are covered with big tub of wine. We loved it!
